This Privacy Policy applies to the websites, products, and services offered by NBGee Foundry, LLC, including nbgeefoundry.com, nbgee.com, shop.nbgee.com, and play.nbgee.com.

1. What & Why We Collect

We collect and use the following information to provide, improve, and protect our Services:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, payment info, and physical address provided during signup, checkout, or explicitly provided for physical mailers and "Earned Phygital Rewards" (e.g., promotional stickers).

  • Public Profiles & Leaderboards: If you participate in the NBGee Mainframe, your chosen pseudonymous handle (@handle) and in-game statistics (such as "Artifact Wealth") are considered public data and will be displayed on global leaderboards.

  • Identity Sync Data: Discord UserIDs and OAuth tokens collected via the Discord Gateway to enable cross-platform "Phygital" rewards and community access.

  • Game State Telemetry & Behavioral Logging: Real-time data including character location, oxygen/battery levels, and inventory movements. To improve the game engine, we log raw Natural Language Interface (NLI) text inputs; however, this data is strictly de-identified (user IDs stripped) at ingestion and permanently purged after 14 days via an automated Time-to-Live (TTL) index.

  • Transient AI Memory: To maintain conversational context, the AI retains a short-term "Deep Memory" of recent interactions with specific Cadets. This linked interaction data is permanently vaporized every 24 hours.

  • Device & Usage Information: IP addresses, browser types, and referral data (UTMs) from platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Discord, and Google.

2. Notice of Financial Incentive (Loyalty Programs)

Under applicable state privacy laws (including the OCPA), we provide notice that we may offer financial incentives or digital goods in exchange for the collection of personal data. Examples include offering a free digital "Survival Manifest" (Hint Pack) in exchange for joining our email list, or sending free physical rewards (like stickers) in exchange for a physical shipping address. Your participation is completely voluntary and consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting us.

3. Affiliate Tracking & Cookies

  • Affiliate Tracking: We participate in affiliate programs. Pages such as "The Foundry Tech Stack" contain affiliate links. When you click these links, a tracking cookie is placed on your browser solely for attribution and commission calculation. We do not pass your personal identity details to these partners for behavioral targeting.

  • Cookies: We deploy Essential Cookies automatically to ensure platform security and login functionality. Performance, Analytics (e.g., Google Analytics 4), and Advertising Cookies are deployed strictly if you affirmatively opt-in via our cookie consent banner.

4. With Whom We Share Data

We will not sell your personal information. We share information only with trusted third-party sub-processors to help us provide our Services:

  • Printful & Lulu: We securely transmit shipping addresses, customer names, and purchased SKUs to manufacture and fulfill physical merchandise and paperback books.

  • Omnisend: Utilized to manage our marketing CRM, deliver automated emails, and process newsletter opt-ins.

  • Google Firebase & Cloud Run: Utilized for secure user authentication, database management, and serverless web hosting.

  • Google Gemini AI: Utilized to process in-game Natural Language Interface (NLI) requests.

  • PurgoMalum REST API: Utilized strictly for automated profanity filtering of public handles. No Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or IP addresses are transmitted to this service, only the requested string of text.

  • Squarespace & Squarespace Payments: Utilized to host our primary websites, manage our e-commerce storefront, and process checkout analytics. Additionally, Squarespace Payments is utilized to securely route and process credit card transactions, ACH transfers, and mobile wallet payments (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay).

  • Payment Processors (e.g., PayPal): Utilized to securely process alternative financial transactions. NBGee Foundry, LLC does not directly collect, process, or store your raw credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers. All payment data is tokenized and handled strictly by our PCI-compliant third-party payment gateways.

5. Security, Retention, and User Controls

We retain account data for as long as your account exists to fulfill our Services. Please note that transaction records, purchase histories, and shipping details from the NBGee Foundry online store are securely retained for longer periods as required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance purposes.

Within the NBGee Galactic Expeditions game environment, state data for inactive "Anonymous Guest" sessions is purged periodically. As outlined above, specific behavioral telemetry and AI memory arrays are subject to strict 14-day and 24-hour automated deletion cycles.

To exercise your rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, you have the following controls:

  • For Game Data: You may use the "Self-Destruct" data deletion tool located within the in-game terminal's Preferences menu to instantly vaporize your game profile, inventory, and connected gameplay identity.

  • For Store Accounts & General Data: To manage, correct, or request the deletion of your online store account, email newsletter subscriptions, or any other data across the NBGee Foundry ecosystem, please contact us at inquiries@nbgeefoundry.com.
